If you have never used Pacific Knit Companies Doodle Decks, you must join us for this workshop.
In this workshop, you will learn all about how to combine doodles for a fun, custom cowl. If cowls are not your thing, choose a different project: a beanie, fingerless gloves, cozies, coasters... There are a myriad of options.
We will begin with creating your custom design, then choose colors, then start knitting!

* 50g of DK/sport weight for the base color
* 3 mini-skeins for contrast and design work
Prerequisites: Long tail cast-on, knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round. Knowledge of stranded work is helpful as this workshop will not focus on stranding.

As a follow-up to our DanDoh trunk show during yarn hop, we will be holding a DanDoh class during August. We will help you through crocheting a Ginkgo top! It is a fabulous open weave top that can be made in a poncho style, or a tee style. It is quite versatile.
You will learn how to read a crochet chart in this class. The base of this top is quite simple, but the beautiful edge is more complex and our instructors will guide you through the process of making this gorgeous ginkgo edging.

This class will teach you the basics of knitting so that you have confidence as you dive into the sea of knitting projects. Whether it be a scarf, blanket, beanie, or wash cloth, you will learn the basic stitches needed to start your own beginner’s project.

This class will introduce you to world of crochet. Who needs two needles when a single hook will do! You will learn how to make a slip knot, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet. These are the necessary skills for you to start your first crochet project.
