Introducing Stranded Beanies
Do you look at a Nancy Bates designed hat and think "I would love to make that, but stranded work scares me." Fear no more!
Let us calm your anxiety with our “Introducing stranded beanies” class. Join us on Saturday, January 31 to build your confidence in stranded beanie work.

Materials: Beanie kit available for purchase, or you provide your own materials.
Prerequisites: Must be familiar with basic beanie making: circular cast-on, ribbing, etc. No stranded experience required.

Basic Beanie
This class will teach you the basics of beanie making. From the ribbed, circular cast-on, through the basic parts of a typical beanie, “Beanie basics” will leave you ready to complete your first beanie. Join us on Saturday, February 28 to add hats to your repertoire.

Introduction to Knitting
Introduction to Knitting
This class will teach you the basics of knitting so that you have confidence as you dive into the sea of knitting projects. Whether it be a scarf, blanket, beanie, or wash cloth, you will learn the basic stitches needed to start your own beginner’s project.

Introduction to Crochet
Introduction to Knitting
This class will introduce you to world of crochet. Who needs two needles when a single hook will do! You will learn how to make a slip knot, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet. These are the necessary skills for you to start your first crochet project.
