Upcoming CALs, KALs, and KCALs

Join our Cornucopia journey this Fall! We are making green apples, grapes, beets, and sunflowers to decorate your thanksgiving table. Every item can be knit or crochet! You choose your craft.

Our October craft is a beet Your kit contains enough yarn for 2 beets including the tops and leaves. Although the base patterns are from Ravelry, come to the KCAL to learn any tricks and alterations.

Join us in knitting this classic Martin Storey  Rowan Tweed blanket: the heirloom quality Midwinter blanket.

This is an intermediate pattern requiring comfort with fair isle and intarsia knitting. We will be here to help you along the way.

 Materials: 

12 skeins of Rowan Felted Tweed for 34"x43" blanket--5 skeins of base, plus 7 of contrast. You may make this bigger or smaller based on the number of squares.  

1 pair US 5 needles and US 3 circular needle at least  110 cm long.

 Our hat of the month for October is none other than a pumpkin beanie for a baby. With my guidance, you will learn how to alter this beanie to turn it into a treat bag for Halloween.  Two treats in one!
