 Alice's Embrace is a nonprofit organization devoted to providing hand-knit and hand-crocheted prayer shawls and lap blankets to those suffering from Alzheimer's disease.  We also have given our gifts to patients on hospice in local hospice organizations; providing them with peaceful comfort during their final days. 

Although the original organization does not exist anymore, we work with partners to achieve the same mission.

 Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. 

Calling all crafters! Use your talents to help shelter animals. FOSCAS accepts donations of handmade items for their craft fair sales and raffle baskets. Every item helps raise money for animals in need.
